Born in 1983, in Shanghai, China, Kai Kevin Huang is regarded as a promising Chinese filmmaker. He studied film at School of Film & TV Art, Shanghai University, where he made his award-winning short films And I Knew and Doctor City. These two of his student works later screened at different film festivals all over the world and brought him the opportunity of shooting his first feature length movie, Park Shanghai (94', 2009). He opened his own film production company HKK Film Company at the beginning of this year. And now his second feature project Luo Jing Jie is under pre-production.
